Supporting the arts, programming events, and producing a free community festival
involves support from the whole community. Please help us find the items
below to help cut costs and keep the NPA, its programs, and the Seattle Music
Fest going. In-kind contributions are tax-deductible and support NPA arts
programs. Thank you for taking the time to help.
Needs List Items
Food for volunteer meetings (weekly)
Thank-you gifts (gift certificates, passes, other items) for volunteers and contributors
Plain-paper fax machine
Office desks
File cabinet(s)
Office supplies (the everyday things)
CD player(s) (portable or not) for use in kiosk displays (with bands from fest, benefit shows, or fundraising CDs)
A vehicle (van or car in decent condition) for production
and errands
Updated computer: Mac G4 or newer
Updated laser printer, Mac-compatible (USB or serial)
Memory, 72-pin SIMMS, 32MB or greater
ATA Hard Drive, 30GB or larger
Video Equipment (cameras, monitors, etc. Pref. digital but analog welcome!)
Two-line office phones (a 2-line cordless would also be useful)
Printing for posters, handbills, program guides
Screen printing
Signs, banners
Stage backdrop (loan is fine), 70% black scrim or similar
Stage lighting (loan of light cans, controller)
RV or Trailer LOAN for 4 days around the Music Fest in August
Halogen work lights: Double lights on a stand
Radios: Loan of 8-20 two-way radios for the Seattle Music Fest or other events.
Cable Mats or "Yellow Jackets" to run cables through so people can walk (or drive) over them.
